The EcarACCU team discovered that the “modern” way to create an energy supply on a off-grid location was the aggregate. This did not sit well with the EcarACCU team. The aggregate makes a lot of noise and creates enormous amounts of toxic and ecological damaging waste. We knew that there was an alternative, a more ecological friendly, way to tackle this situation. This is when the creative design process started for EcarACCU. This process resulted in the earliest designs of the EcarPOWER. The EcarPOWER uses the same principle as an aggregate. The power source consists of the second life battery’s from our core business.

The EcarPOWER is suitable for supplying power to food trucks, sound installations, lighting system or entire events. The applications are near endless. The best thing about the EcarPOWER is the fact that it can be towed by a regular car or van, if the driver has a BE driving licence. This means that the EcarPOWER can be moved from/to a certain location fairly easy.

As the EcarPOWER was introduced to events, the EcarACCU team came back to the drawing board. There was a new situation which needed a solution. The EcarPOWER couldn’t supply power for extended periods of time without a re-charge. The solution is our hybrid generator energy supply. (Learn more)

As mentioned earlier, the EcarPOWER makes use of the second life batteries provided by EcarACCU. The modules in combination with a Victron inverter create the vitals which run the EcarPOWER. In addition to the modules and inverter, the EcarPOWER is equipped with a lot of safety measures, such as the automatic fire extinguish system. In different parts of the EcarPOWER are located a lot of safety features which automatically shut-off the system and sends a notification to our online monitoring system.

EcarACCU sees enormous potential in the EcarPOWER because of the wide variety of applications. The first EcarPOWER was created in 2018 and has since then been finetuned and updated to our standard which we have today. Since the first creation of the EcarPOWER a lot of new ideas came to mind. To this day we have a lot of ideas which have yet to be created. Even though not all of our ideas have become reality EcarACCU already has variations of the EcarPOWER.
